The Loreto College Board (formerly known as the Council), which was established in 1993, has been given responsibility for the government and management of the school by the Provincial Superior of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Loreto College Board (formerly known as the Council), which was established in 1993, has been given responsibility for the government and management of the school by the Provincial Superior of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary.The day-to-day running of the school is delegated to the Principal to whom the Board gives support and direction.
Members of the School Board have expertise in Education, Finance, Law, Property, and Risk Management and are appointed because of their belief in the value of an education in the Loreto tradition.
The Board is involved in long term planning and financial management and is charged with maintaining the ethos of Mary Ward and the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Chairperson of the School Board is Mrs Donna Orazio.
